Brazil has so many unique flavors and dishes that it can be hard to keep track of what's what! While you'll probably learn this information best once you're here, we thought we'd try to give you a head start on the unique foods Brazil has to offer. Check out our Brazilian foods vocabulary list and practice your knowledge with flashcards.

A coxinha (type of salgado; pear shaped croquette usually with chicken)

O salgado (a salty snack)

O guaraná (type of soda, also a fruit, and used in energy drinks)

A feijoada (bean stew with meat)

O pão de queijo (cheese bread)

A paçoca (sweet peanut dessert)

A moqueca (seafood stew from the northeast and Espírito Santo)
